Turf treatment with irrigation lake

Introduction

Based on our experiences with the lake at Hale School we decided it might be useful to add our enzymes to water in order to clean soil.

We are currently working on a case in the US where we put our Soil-Zyme2™ in an irrigation lake to treat the land that is irrigated with the water from this irrigation lake.

How does it work

The enzymes we put in the irrigation lake activate the bacteria that in turn takes all the available nitrogen. This starves the algae and pond weed in it. The castings are irrigated out, causing nutrients transfer from irrigation to turf.

This process is also called fertigation.

Advantages

Low cost to treat everything under irrigation. This scenario gets a lot of attention, because no labour cost etc, uniform treatment, good results.
